Winnie Arlene Adams, 75, of 82 North Main Street, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Golden Age in Inman. Winnie was born in Greensboro, GA on October 5, 1938, a daughter of the late William and Foye (Hulsey) Holcomb. She was the widow of Shelton Adams and was first married to the late Eugene Archer. She was formerly employed at ADO Corp and was of the Methodist faith. Winnie is survived by two daughters, Kelly Archer, of Spartanburg, SC; Beverly Ensley, of Riverside, AL; two sisters, Jacqueline Morgan, of Augusta, GA; Yvonne James, of Sandersville, GA., two grandchildren, Charles Stacey Shipman of Sparta, GA, William Lynn Shipman of Sandersville, GA, three great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held in Sparta, Ga.. Burial will be in Zebulon UMC Sparta Cemetery Thursday, April 3 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
