Wilton Dwight Young, 72, of 152 Parwin Road Spartanburg, passed away Wednesday, August 28th, with family by his side.
He was born in Princeton, NC on December 17, 1946, a son of the late Minnie Louise Wall Young and Louie Wilton Young. He served in The United States Army in Viet Nam. He retired as an automotive mechanic.
He was the beloved father and grandfather of two sons; Wilton "Buddy" Young, Jr and his wife Donna of Franklinton, NC, Marcus Young of Chapel Hill, NC, a daughter; Michelle L Walker and her husband, Lyle of Spartanburg, nine grandchildren; Marcus Leard, Kendall Young, Ella McMahon, Mathew Walker, Kaleb Walker, Wyatt Walker, Ellen Young, Gray Young and Will Young. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James Lee Young and a sister, Gail Custer.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
