Mary Willie Mae Blackwell Hefner, 69, of 210 Avalon Drive , passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Mrs. Hefner was born in Fingerville, S.C. on September 5, 1944, a daughter of the late Hollis Lee and Froney Ann Hood Blackwell. She was the wife of Michael Lawson Hefner and had retired from Raycord Manuf. She was a member of Dependent Baptist Church where she had served as assistant treasurer.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Michael Hefner and his wife Tiffany of Spartanburg, a sister, Aldie Mae Fisher and her husband Boyce of Campobello, SC and a granddaughter, Alexis Hefner. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edward Blackwell, Avery Blackwell, Archie Blackwell, and Thelma Gilbert.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Dependent Baptist Church, Inman, with Rev. Joe Geddes and Mr. Kevin Burrell officiating.
