Mrs Willie Sue Henderson
Mrs Willie Sue Abernathy Henderson, 87, of 3 Rhinehart Street, Inman passed away Sunday, December 9th, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs Henderson was born in Spartanburg County on June 30, 1920, the daughter of the late James Doc and Crosby Evelee (Smith) Abernathy.
She is survived by one daughter: Brenda Dodd and husband David of Gramling, two brothers: Bill Henderson of Holly Springs, Everett Henderson of Spartanburg, one sister: Bertie Elizabeth Effler of Lyman, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister: Edna Mae Bridges and three brothers: Boyd, Alvin and Woodrow Abernathy.
She was the widow of Lewis Andrew "Andy" Henderson, was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church, Campobello, SC.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11th, with Pastor John Smith and Rev. Henry Coley officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Monday 6-8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
