Willie Mae Burns Correll
Mrs. Willie Mae Burns Correll, 88, of Lowman Home, White Rock, SC formerly of Inman, passed away Friday, August 24th, 2007 at Lexington Medical Center.
Mrs. Correll was born on September 4, 1918, the daughter of the late William Clyde and Maude (Strange) Burns and was the widow of J. Leonard Correll.
She was retired from District 1 Schools and was a member of Inman United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son James L. Correll, Jr and his wife Evelyn of Easley, SC and one daughter Judy Correll Buchanan and her husband Charley of Columbia, SC, three grandchildren Charles B. Buchanan, Jr of Manassas, Va; Tiffany B. Harter and Daniel J. Correll both of Columbia, SC; two great-grandchildren Bryce and Katie Harter.She was predeceased by one sister Cornelia Burns Page and one brother Benjamin G. Burns.
Crypt side service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 26th, with Rev.Allen E. Long officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 - 2:45 P.M. at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman United Methodist Church, 27 Bishop St Inman, SC 29349 or to the charity of one's choice.
