Mr. William Eddie Waldrop, 62, of 350 River Drive Spartanburg died Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Waldrop was born in Spartanburg on March 13, 1948, the son of the late JB and Laura Mae Cooper Waldrop.
He retired from Insulfab and had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include a daughter, Kelly Waldrop , a grandson, Andrew Lee Vincent Waldrop of the home, a bother, James Edward Waldrop of lnman, and his special family members, Rebekah Williams, Christie Campbell, Julie Clark, and Sally Inman.
The family will receive friends at Seawright Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 1:30PM until 2:30PM. Graveside services will be held at Wood Memorial Park, 863 Gap Creek Rd., Duncan, SC 29334 at 3:00PM. Military Honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cannon's Campground United Methodist Church, Food Pantry, 3450 Cannon's Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
