Mr. William "Billy" Burgan Morris, 74, of 4 Outter Dr. Inman passed away Sunday, April 19th, 2009 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital, Spartanburg, SC, after a long illness.
Mr. Morris was born in Inman, SC on October 31, 1934, the son of the late Burgan and Willie Mae (Edwards) Morris and was the husband of Shelby Jean (Allison) Morris.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 1 son: Billy Steve Morris of Inman, 2 sisters: Mazie Cartee of Inman and Doris Henderson of Glendale. He was predeceased by brothers: Ray, Glenn, Ralph, Roy, and Carol, and 3 sisters: Edna Bradley, Louise Arledge, and Ruth Martin.
He retired from Concept Packaging, was of the Baptist Faith and served in the U.S. Army. Mr Morris was also a lifetime member of Inman Masonic Lodge #201.
The family is at the home of Patsy Seigler, 195 Siegle Drive, Inman and will receive friends Wednesday 1-2 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22nd, with Dr. Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
