William Wayne McMurray

William Wayne McMurray, 74, of Woodruff, SC, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

William was born in Rock Hill, SC on December 23, 1950, a son of the late Deloris Waddel and Robert McMurray, and the stepson of Jeanette McMurray. He was the husband of Janie (Bishop) McMurray.

His survivors include, two sons, Patrick McMurray (Bonnie), Gabe McMurray (Hope): a stepson Darren McAbee (Patricia):two brothers, Robert McMurray and Kenneth McMurray (Jerdie Simon): a sister, Judy Pafford (Joel): a stepsister, Linda Black: a half brother, Joey Heddleston: a half sister, Sandra Jackson: thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and two daughters in law, Tina McMurray and Misty Hewitt. He was predeceased by, a sister, Sue Williams: a son, Billy Wayne Jr.: a half brother, Jackie Heddleston and a stepson, Jeremy Simmons.

He was retired from International Wire and attended Landmark Baptist Church.

Burial will be private and the family will conduct a memorial service at a later time.
