Boiling Springs, SC--Mr. William"Billy" Mitchell Howard, 66, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital.
Billy was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 3, 1948, a son of the late Agnes Alene (Metcalf) and William Mitchell Howard, Sr. and was the husband of Mrs. Myrtle (Koon) Howard having celebrated 28 years of marriage.
Mr. Howard attended Liberty Baptist Church in Inman and had worked as a long haul truck driver.
In addition to his wife Myrtle, he is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Morton and her husband Ronnie; two sons, Tony Fowler and his wife Jennie and Timothy Scott Fowler all of Boiling Springs, SC; one brother Monty Howard and one sister, Barbara Pruitt both of Inman, SC along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Brenda Faye Benfield and one brother, Harold Dean "Punkin" Howard.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2-4 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4 PM in the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Duncan officiating.
