William Franklyn "Bill" Hollenbach, Jr
William "Bill" Franklyn Hollenbach, Jr, 79, of Inman, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Pamalia Jackson Hollenbach. Born in Coaldale, Pa. on March 2, 1938, he was the son of the late William Franklyn Hollenbach, Sr. and Ruth Blew Hollenbach McHugh. After a 35 year career with United Air Lines, Bill spent his retirement fishing, golfing and gardening. He was a Navy veteran serving 4 years on the USS Bristol, DD857 and enjoyed attending their yearly reunions.
Survivors: Wife, Pamalia of the home, son, William Franklyn Hollenbach III and wife, Robin Johnson Hollenbach and grandson, William Franklyn Hollenbach IV of Inman. Brothers, Harry and wife Ellen, of Jacksonville, Fl., Robert and wife Donna, of Tamaqua, PA and sister, Betty and husband, Tom Sulpizio of Philadelphia, PA. He is pre-deceased by his brother Neil and sister Gloria.
A graveside memorial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 690 Park Road, Inman, SC 29349.
