Born of August 2, 1953 in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of the late Charles W Fowler and the late Christine Parrott Fowler both of Spartanburg SC.
William Fowler, husband of Mary "Jane" Burgess Fowler went to meet Jesus on May, 6 2024.  He was a 1971 graduate of Dorman High School. He was a founding employee with Spartanburg EMS for 20 years, and worked with the 911 system for 15 years. William is survived by his wife, Jane, his son, Jon Fowler (Micah), Grandchildren Kaleb, Kamden, and Mara of Boiling Springs, SC. He is also survived by two brother-in-laws: Buddy Burgess (Anne) of Mechanicsville, VA, Bruce Burgess of Boiling Springs, two sister-in-laws: Gladys Burgess Barnette (Jerry) and Melody Sprouse of Inman. SC and several neices and nephews.
