Willard Daniel "Dan" Jones

Willard Daniel (Dan) Jones, 80, of  Wellford, SC, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Born in Dublin, Georgia on May 16, 1944, he was the son of the late Willard Jones and Ethel Smith Pachoviak.  He was the husband of Cheryl Rowland Jones having celebrated 58 years of marriage.  

Dan served his country for 30 years while serving in the Marines, Army and the National Guard.  He was a member of Inman First Free Will Baptist Church, served as a faithful Sunday School Teacher for over 10 years and was the manager of the Christian Book Store at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Scott Jones and his wife Wanda; his daughter, Kim Norris and her husband Rusty; five grandchildren, Kayla Hayes (Matthew), Megan Myers (Lyle), Mack Norris (Nicole), Tyler Jones and Marissa Kolb (Ben) along with eight great grandchildren, Aubree Myers, Spencer Jones, Hudson Hayes, Cooper Hayes, Luke Myers, Parker Jones, Laney Kolb and Whitley Norris.  

He was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.  

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 1:00 -1:45 PM at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church.  

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM in the church with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating.  Military Honors by Boiling Springs Post #200 will take place at the church following the service.  Burial will be in Wood Memorial Park.
