Mrs. Wilhelmina "Mimi" Bartow Coleman Seawright, 92, of 59 Blackstock Road, Inman, formerly of 99 East Main Street, Inman passed away Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman
Mrs. Seawright was a native of Charleston, SC and a resident of Inman, SC for over 60 years. She was born in New Greenwich, CT on November 14, 1918, the daughter of the late Robert H and Wilhelmina (Mitchell) Coleman and was the widow of Clayton A Seawright. She was a graduate of Ashley Hall High School in Charleston and the College of Charleston.
She is survived by a daughter: Frances S Belcher and husband Norman, a son: Bob and wife Joy, all of Inman, 3 granddaughters: Angie Link and husband Lee of Owings Mills, MD, Kimmy LaMee and husband Dan of Boiling Springs, Brandy Seawright-Page and husband Travis of Inman, 3 great granddaughters: Savannah Link, Lilly Seawright-Page and Makenzie Link. She was predeceased by a daughter Catherine Anne Seawright and her beloved dog Scruffy.
She was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church where she was pianist for the Sunday school, treasurer of the Women of Inman Presbyterian Church and treasurer of the Inman Presbyterian Church Sunday school for many years.
The family is at the home of her daughter: 1141 Hannon Road, Inman and her son: 150 Seawright Road, Inman and will receive friends Thursday 10:00 - 11 :00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, with Dr Reggie Parker and Mr Marion Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the Inman Cemetery.
