Mr. Wilbur Fay Weathers, 79, of 1364 Jerusalem Rd. Pacolet died Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Weathers was born in Pacolet Mills on July 8, 1930 to the late William and Katherine Morgan Weathers. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Greene Weathers, son, Larry Weathers of Fairforest, daughter, Joann Caldwell of Mt. Pleasant, two step sons, Travis McGinn of Boiling Springs and Allen McGinn of Union; seven granddaughters, two grandsons, and one great grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter, Irene Case.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303. E-condolences to the family may be left at www.seawright-funeralhome.com.
