Wesley Allen Dougherty

Wesley Allen Dougherty, 87, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Lake Emory Post Acute Care.

Born in Montrose, Colorado on April 24, 1938, he was the son of the late George Wesley Dougherty and Lois Catherine Forte Dougherty and was the husband of Eleanor (Lancaster) Dougherty having celebrated 21 years of marriage.

Mr. Dougherty worked as a supervisor at the Tracy Defense Depot in California and served in the United States Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two sons, Kenneth Dougherty and Mike Dougherty (Leah); two daughters, Tiffany Barrett (Tim) and Heather Dougherty-Stonecipher (Leonard); two step-sons, Christopher Davis (Donia) and Sean Davis along with twelve grandchildren, Jessica Dougherty-Del Rosario (Michael), Samantha Barrett, Joey Barrett, Sarena Dougherty, Michael Dougherty (Sophie), Brooke Tyndall (Seth), Brittany Dougherty, Andrew Davis, Jillian Davis, Sullivan Davis, Oliver Davis and McKenzie Davis and six great-grandchildren, Liam Dougherty, Bear Dougherty, Otis Dougherty, Emily Del-Rosario, Azellia Barrett-Guzman and Ignacio Barrett-Guzman.

A Celebration of his life service will be announced.
