INMAN, SC-- Wayne A. Smith, 63, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at the home of his daughter, Pam West, wife of the late Ric "Sleepy" West, of 118 Blueberry Lane, Inman.
Mr. Smith was the widower of the late Frances Smith who was from Jonesboro, GA. He was a Viet Nam veteran.
Surviving in addition to his daughter, Pam West are two sons, Danny "Bo" Smith and Shannon Smith both of Woodruff, SC; three grandchildren, Nicholas Smith of Woodruff, Dallas "Scooter" West of Inman and Jensen Smith of Tennessee. The family would like to give special thanks to Mr. Smith's caregiver, Bryan Connor of 117 Blueberry Lane, Inman. Bryan loved Mr. Smith and he loved him in return.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
