Wayne Edward Malsch, 84, of Gap Creek Road, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Greer Memorial Hospital. Wayne was born in Pittsburgh, Pa on January 23, 1937, a son of the late Laverne Krahl Diederich and Harry G. Malsch. He was the husband of Kathleen Benzel Malsch. He was retired from Flour Daniel as a Senior Piping Engineer and was affiliated with Reidville PCA. Mr. Malsch was a United States Navy reservist.
Wayne is survived by four sons, Wayne Malsch and his wife, Allison; John Malsch and his wife Phyllis; Mark Malsch; and Michael Malsch and his wife, Christina; a daughter, Kimberly Olszewski and her husband, Stuart. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren Nathan, Braden, Alex, Michelle, Dakota, Skylar, Devin, Gaige, Stuart and 5 Great Grandchildren Emma, Braelynn, Calleigh, Claire, Jack.
Visitation will be held at Reidville Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
The Family will host a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 29th at Reidville Presbyterian Church, 340 College Street, Reidville , SC, 29375, with Dr. Todd Buchner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
