Wayne Earl Camp - of Lake Bowen/Inman, SC, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 23, 2012 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Wayne was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 17, 1945. He was the only child of the late Inez (Mathis) and Edgar Earl Camp. He was the husband of Delores "Dee" (Snelgrove) Camp.
Wayne was the proud owner and operator of Ideal Fuel Company in Spartanburg which will be celebrating 50 years of business in 2013. He was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Spartanburg, SC.
Wayne is survived by a daughter, Alesia Martin and husband Mike of Campobello; a son, Timothy "Tim" Camp and wife Laura of Gaffney, 3 grandchildren, Sarah Martin, Emily Camp and Amanda Camp.
Wayne was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed going to the beach, riding motorcycles, boating, and flying. He was a 1963 graduate of Fairforest High School.
A celebration of life service will be held at Holy Communion Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 25 at 11:00AM. Current and former employees of Ideal Fuel Company will serve as honorary escorts. A private burial will be held at Grassy Pond Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaffney, SC.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Cancer Centers of the Carolinas and Hospice Compassus for their wonderful care, as well as the many friends who have accompanied us on this journey. The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
