Warren "Bud" Shreve

Warren Fountain " Bud" Shreve, 93, of 220 Rock Ridge Rd. in Campobello died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Sand Mountain, Tennessee, he was a son of the late William and Minnie White Shreve. He was the husband of Margaret "Peggy" Reynolds Tripp Shreve and was first married to the late Norma Rosalee Stringfield Shreve. He was a Navy veteran of WWII where he served as a gunner's mate, a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church and was retired from working in hospital maintenance. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter; Sherry Israel of Spartanburg, a son; Randy Shreve of Highland,NY, two stepsons; Mart and Michael Tripp, and one step daughter; Anita Shultz. He was also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 12 at 4:00 at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Michael Owenby. Private burial will be in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Mobile Meals PO Box 461, Spartanburg, S.C. 29304.
