Wanda McGarity

Wanda McGarity left this earth and walked into Heaven February 15, 2018. Born in Spartanburg on June 14, 1950, she was a homemaker. She was the widow of the late Randy O McGarity, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Dewey "Buck" Williams and Leila Pruitt Williams. Wanda was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the fellowship of her beloved Lydian Sunday school class. Wanda leaves behind her children; Angela Fluorney(Tim), Dee Dee Pugh(Richie), Buck McGarity(Ginger), her grand children; Heather Williams, Jeremy Williams, Randa Miller(Brendon), Garitt Pugh(Kayla),Ella McGarity, Noah McGarity, Logan McGarity, and her great grandchildren; Levi , Chase, and Ryan Miller. Predeceased by her siblings; Lukeva Wyatt, Butch Williams, and Linda Williams.The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:45 PM Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Bethany Baptist Church, 622 Alamo Street, Spartanburg SC, with the services immediately following officiated by Rev. Glenn Rusher. In lieu of flowers memorials made to Bethany Baptist Missions, PO Box 4086, Spartanburg SC 29305. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the SRMC Hospice House, nurses, and staff for the wonderful care they gave Wanda.
