Walter Franklin High

Walter Franklin High, 91, of 223 Pine Cove Drive, Inman, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at Upstate Community Hospice Home in Landrum. 
Mr. High was born in Inman on April 4, 1932, a son of the late Annie Mae Wofford High and Henry Turner High and was the widower of Geraldine Gray High.
He retired from Budweiser of Spartanburg and was a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church in Spartanburg. Mr. High was also a Mason and a Shriner. 
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Vinson of Inman, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. High was also predeceased by a son, Dennis F. High, a son in law, Billy Vinson, and two brothers, Andrew High and Troy High.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2024 in the Chapel Room at New Beginnings United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Christopher Green. The family will receive following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 210 Rainbow Lake Road, Boiling Springs, S.C. 29316.
