Virginia Rhodes Wyse

Virginia Rhodes Wyse, 93, of 32 Nichols Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at her residence.

Virginia was born in Tryon, NC on September 9, 1931, a daughter of the late Eva (Cochran) Rhodes and George Rhodes.

She was the widow of Joseph Allen Wyse, a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Virginia is survived by three daughters, Boyne Key (Danny), of Christianburg, VA; Laura Ward (George), of Inman, SC; Anne Thackston (Keith), of Simpsonville, SC; a son, Jody Wyse (Millie), of Inman, SC; two sisters, Georgia Barton, Jessie Ray and her grandchildren, Benjamin Key (Caroline), Megan Key Koerner (John), George Ward, III, Elizabeth Snider (Jared), Christopher Ward (Amber), Jim Thackston (Jennifer), Leigh Thackston Paxton (Kyle), Elise Wyse Furness (Phillip), Claire Wyse Medley (Brandon) and 13 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 21st at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Rev. Wade Apel officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
