Virginia Johnson Pike

Virginia Johnson Pike, 95, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her home. Born in Spartanburg County on May 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Effie (Cash) Johnson and was the wife of the late James Thomas Pike, Sr. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. Mrs. Pike was the last survivor of her immediate family being predeceased by 10 siblings.
Virginia is survived by two daughters, Janice P. Reid, Brenda P. Parham (Eddie), a son,Tommy Pike, four grandchildren, Angie Pike, Haylee Parham (Afchine), Brentt Parham (Michelle), Anissa Pike, two great grandchildren, Natalie Parham and Hattie Caroline Ahmadi Parham. She was predeceased by a son, Rodger Earl Pike, a granddaughter, April Dawn Pike and a son-in-law, Claude Reid. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at Good Shepherd Memorial Park. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 Noon with Dr. Michael Hamlet officiating.
