Virginia Hendrix Jackson, 90, of 51 N. Main St., Inman, SC, formerly of Spartanburg passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Inman Healthcare. Virginia was born in Laurens, SC on March 1, 1927, a daughter of the late William Chester and Mattie Lee (Lothridge) Hendrix. She was the widow of James W. Jackson and was a member of Inman First Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Sunday School Class. Virginia is survived by a sister, Frankie Proffitt, of Spartanburg and a brother, Rev Earl Hendrix, of Inman. She was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Jackson, a sister, Juanita Fowler and 2 brothers, Hubert and Ray Hendrix. The family will receive friends Saturday at Seawright Funeral Home immediately following the service. Funeral Services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 15th, with Rev Sean Fortner and Rev Robert Mace officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Free Will Baptist Church, 90 Blackstock Rd, Inman, SC 29349.
