Virginia Jean Hyder, 57, of 169 Folk Road, Chesnee, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Greer on July 31, 1957, a daughter of the late Sylvia Jean Burnett Gilbert and Carl Gilbert and was the wife of John Calvin Hyder. She had been employed at Inman Mills-Saybrook Plant and BMW and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Little Chicago . In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter; Marie Vitale of Chesnee, fours sons; Chris Suddeth of Chesnee, Timmy Suddeth of Inman, John Hyder of Spartanburg, Jason Hyder of Lyman, a brother; Furman "Buster" Gilbert of Campobello, and 14 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Johnny Suddeth. The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday, January 12, 2015, 5:00 until 7:00 at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Tuesday, January 13, at 1:00 PM conducted Dr. Phil Sybrant and Pastor Joey Mills. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Chicago.
