Virginia P. Crow

Virginia "Jenny" Parris Crow, of Duncan, South Carolina, passed away, Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Spartanburg. Jenny was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on December 13, 1926, a daughter of the late Henry Oscar Parris and Maggie Burnett Parris. She was the widow of Homer Carl Crow. Mrs. Crow was a retired employee with M. Lowenstien Corporation and a member of Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Greer, South Carolina, where she was a former choir member and a children's Sunday school teacher.
Jenny is survived by two sons Danny C. Crow and his wife, Gwen, of Inman, South Carolina; Rev. Mitch A. Crow and his wife, Amy, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; two sisters, Mary Alice Wood, of Duncan, South Carolina; Hazel Dill, of Greer, South Carolina; and a brother, Harold Parris, of Startex, South Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ashley DeVries and her husband, Darrin; Kevin Crow and his wife, JoAnna; Kelly Garrison and her husband, Kevin; Mason Crow and his wife, Kennedy; Kelsey Hitchins and her husband, Andrew; eight great-grandchildren, Tucker DeVries, Tatum DeVries, Dylan Crow, Savannah Crow, Knox Garrison, Kenzie Garrison, Maci Kate Crow and Hampton Crow.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Crow was predeceased by a son, Michael Lamar Crow; two brothers, Kenneth Parris and Charles Parris; two sisters, Allene Justice and Margaret Stadinski.
Visitation will be held, Friday, November 9, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Woods Chapel UMC in Greer, South Carolina.
Interment will follow at Wood Memorial Park Duncan, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Celebration Choir at Duncan First Baptist 103 East Main Street Duncan, SC 29334. The families are at their respective homes.
