Violet Bagwell Ivey

Inman, SC---Violet Bagwell Ivey, 86, of 63 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Violet was born in Inman, S.C. on May 6, 1928, a daughter of the late Maybelle (Johnson) Bagwell and William Homer Bagwell, Sr. She worked as a seamstress in the textile industry and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman. She is survived by a brother, Gerald Bagwell, (Joy) of Inman and her sister-in-law, Frances Bagwell of Chesnee. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Nellie Condrey, Lois Reece, Mary Wilson and 4 brothers, Homer, Hugh, Thurman and Walter Bagwell. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Monday August 18, 2014 from 10:00 -11:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 18th with Rev Randy Lewis officiating.
