Viola Mosley Burns, 90, formerly of Longview Drive Boiling Springs, passed away Tuesday, February 23rd, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
She was born in Campobello on May 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Mary Louise Finch Mosley and Charles Hubert Mosley and was the widow of Grady O'Neal Burns.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg since 1962 where she was also a member of her Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Wilkie (Bernard) of Campobello, Karen West (Glen) of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Emma Ravan and Avalon Medley; three grandchildren, Wendy Thompson (Justin), Jonathan West (Lynda), Miranda Rogers (Rod); and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Elizabeth Poteat, Muriel Oliver, Ethel Sloan; and four brothers, Wesley Mosley, Jim Mosley, J.L. Mosley, and Raymond Mosley.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman at 11:00 am Thursday, February 25, 2016 with Rev. Dwayne Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Seawright Funeral Home.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Windsor House for the love and care given to our mother and grandmother for the past two years and also to Spartanburg Regional Hospice House for the dedicated care and assistance most recently.
