Victoria "Vickie" Elizabeth Benton

Victoria Elizabeth (Vickie) Benton, 67, of Gaffney, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, South Carolina.   

Born in Woodruff, South Carolina on April 18, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Nix) Williams and Martin  Williams and was the wife of William Keffer Benton, Sr..

Vickie was a member of Pacolet Road Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Kayla Benton; three sons, Bo Huskey (Wendy), D.J. Benton (Kauri) and Keefer Benton (Shannon); four sisters, Ann Mullinax, Marie Hughey, Maxine Owens and Carolin Messer; one brother, Timmy Williams along with four grandchildren, Amber Huskey, John Huskey (Bridgette) Chloe Huskey and Noah Benton and two great grandchildren, Kamden Huskey, John (Peanut) Huskey. 

She was predeceased by two sisters, Ophelia Blackwood and Effie Harris and five brothers, Buck Williams, Daniel Williams, Roxie Williams, John Williams and Benjamin Williams.  

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Pacolet Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Powell and Rev. Bryon Inman officiating.
