Victor Elie Browne, Jr.
Mr. Victor Elie Browne, Jr., 74, of 9 Canaday Street Inman, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 at the Regional Hospice Home.
Mr. Browne was born in Hickory, NC on August 16, 1933, the son of the late Victor Elie and Vessie (Cresman) Browne and was the husband of Loree (Cooper) Browne.
He worked at Steven's Aviation in Greenville for many years, was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201 and was a member of Inman United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Loree Browne, he is survived by three sons, Dennis Brian Browne and a special friend Ann Case, Samuel Jeffery Browne and his wife Cheryl and Victor Andrew Browne all of Inman, one sister Mary Browne Rushton and her husband James H. of Greenville, SC and three grandchildren Samantha Lee Browne, Samuel Jeffery Browne, Jr., and Tiffany Huitt and a much loved cat "Lucky". He was predeceased by one sister Martha Browne.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 2PM with Rev. David Caughman officiating.
The family is at the home, and will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victor Elie Browne, Jr. memorial fund PO Box 192 Inman, SC 29349.
