Vickie Sue Ferguson, 66, of 141 Vaughn Road, Duncan, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 9th, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital, Spartanburg, SC. Vickie was born in Arcadia, SC on November 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Sallie (Gossett) and Horace Hyde. She was the wife of Mike Ferguson for over 18 years and worked as a benefit analyst for Denny's Corp. She was in the US Naval Reserves and of the Free Will Baptist Faith. Other survivors include two sons, John Thomas Fleming and his wife Tracie of Clear Water, Fl, Roger Rhea Fleming and his wife Caryn of Decatur, Ga., a sister, Sallie Ann Reece and her husband Donnie of Wellford, SC, two cousins, Betty Jo Gilliam of Spartanburg, SC, and Sara Ann Reece of Wellford, SC, four granddaughters, Elsie Marie Fleming, Rosalee Gilley, Carla Gilley, and Capri Weston, one grandson, Robert Weston and four great grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jacob Davis, Alijah Roderick and Riah Weston.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday, June 12th, 2015 from 6 PM - 7 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. Cryptside services will be in Cycadia Cemetery (Mausoleum), FL.
