Valerie Lucille Penland O'Sullivan, 95, of 749 Dunleith Court in Stone Mountain, GA died Saturday, March 15th, at her home.
She was born in Inman on January 19, 1919, a daughter of the late Ethel N. Hames Penland and James L Penland. She had worked as a variety store clerk and was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by three sons, Joe O'Sullivan of Stone Mountain, Jimmy O'Sullivan of Allentown, PA, Lanis O'Sullivan of Kansas City, Kan; and a brother, Carroll Penland of Boiling Springs. She was predeceased by a son, Terry Lee O'Sullivan.
Graveside services will be held at Inman Cemetery in Inman at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18th, with Dr. Bobby Atkins officiating.
