Troy Eugene Mahaffey

Troy Eugene Mahaffey, 73, passed away Monday, February 24th, 2014, at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Troy was born in Fingerville, S.C. on July 1, 1940, and was a son of the late Walter Jason and Fannie Mae (Lee) Mahaffey . He was a retired painter.
Survivors include four daughters, Sherri Shockley, Kimberly Darlene James, Kathi Dalton, Wanda Fay Mergenthaler, and a son Edward Earl Mergenthaler, four brothers, Maynard Allen Mahaffey, T. J. Mahaffey, Joe Ray Mahaffey and Cletus William Mahaffey. There are ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Troy Mahaffey will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Trilogy Christian Fellowship Church at 307, Hwy. 292, Inman, SC conducted by Rev. Joe Miller and Mr. Lane Hendrix. The family will receive friends Wednesday in the church one hour before service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Troy Mahaffey Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 192, Inman, SC 29349. An online guest register is available on this website. The family is at their respective homes.
