Troy Ray Collins

Troy Ray Collins, 81, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr Collins was born in Inman, S.C. on January 26 1937 and was the son of the late Troy Hezekiah and Annie Lou Gosnell Collins. Ray was the beloved husband of Rebecca "Becky" Solesbee Collins and attended New Spring Church. He was a member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge # 285 AFM and was a proud member of the Hejaz Shrine. Ray was awarded the Dave Thomas Service Award by the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas for the King and Queen Committee Chairman. He also served his country in the SC Army National Guard. Ray had retired from Little Debbie.
In addition to his wife Becky is his son, Dart Collins and his wife Karen of Inman, SC, a brother Randall Collins and his wife Pat also of Inman. He has two grandchildren, Justin and Jennifer Salley and was predeceased by a sister, Betty Barnette Easler.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 1:00 to 1:50 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Monty King. Full Masonic Rites will be held in the funeral home chapel at the conclusion of the funeral service. Shriners are to serve as the Honorary Escort. Interment will be private in Westwood Memorial Gardens in Moore, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to: Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605
