Tressie Mae Shaw, 91, of 120 Fleming Ave, Marion, NC, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 , at Rose Hill Retirement Community in Marion. Tressie was born in Campobello, SC on May 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Alma Watkins Humphries and General Bryson Humphries, and was the widow of Bernard Bramwell Shaw. She was employed at Belk's for over 40 years and was a member of Lyman First Baptist Church. Tressie is survived by a daughter, Deborah Willis (Jerry), of Landrum; a brother, Bryson Humphries (Laura), of Spartanburg, two grandchildren, Kelley Sommers (Charles) of Okinawa, Alex Edwards (Chuck) of Fort Mill, NC, two great grandchildren, Caleb Sommers and Conner Sommers. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association South Carolina Chapter 901 South Pine Street Spartanburg, South Carolina 29302 or to the Spartanburg Humane Society 150 Dexter Road Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303
