Travis Steven Silvey, 35, of 536 Harvest Valley Ct. Spartanburg, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018. Travis was born in Spartanburg on December 27, 1982, a son of David Silvey of Union and the late Tamra Silvey. He was employed as an operator at Nunn Better Towing Company and was a member of Calvary Community Church. Travis was an avid drag racing fan and driver, having driven at local dragways and was a past track champion at Shadyside Dragway. He enjoyed people, hunting, fishing, and was a volunteer fire fighter for Una Fire District; but most of all, he loved Kaitlyn.
In addition to his father, he left behind his beloved soulmate Kaitlyn Suttle of the home, a daughter; Haleigh Silvey of Boiling Springs, a son, Hunter Silvey of Spartanburg; a brother, Dustin Silvey, his wife, Dawn, and their daughter, Madison, all of Union, a maternal grandmother, Joyce Fincher of Pauline; an aunt, Norma West of Spartanburg, an aunt, Tracie Smith of Pauline, an uncle, Tim Wilder (Rhonda) of Pauline; cousins; Tim West of Inman, Tonya Morris of Spartanburg, Josh Smith of Pauline, Ashley, Courtney, and Casey.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday August 3, 2018 at Calvary A Relevant Community Church, 4000 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
The family will receive friends at Calvary A Relevant Community Church from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and following the service at his home, 536 Harvest Valley Court, Spartanburg, SC 29303 and at the home of his grandmother, 1781 Harrelson Road, Pauline, SC 29374.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Heart Association, 310 Bennett Center Dr., Greer, SC 29650 and also to: Calvary A Relevant Community Church, 4000 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
