Tony Ray Ketz, 59 of 114 Maxwell St. passed away Monday, November 23rd, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg. Tony was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 17, 1955, a son of Mary Josephine Wylie Johnson, step- son of Donald Johnson of Inman and son of the late Raymond L. Ketz. He was the husband of Annett (Burgess) Ketz and a truck driver for Omni Source S. E. Company. Tony was also the owner/operator of Tony's Body Shop in Inman for several years. He served his country as a member of the Inman National Guard and was of the Baptist faith. Other survivors include two daughters, Marie Godfrey and her husband Chris, Terri Hudson and her husband Robbie, a son, Tony Ketz, Jr. and his wife Angel all of Inman, a step-son, Gene Revis and his wife Beth of Union, SC. seven grandchildren, Shannon and Breanna Godfrey, Tyler and Mackensi Hudson, Cody, Devin, and Savanna Ketz, five step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. The body will be taken to 118 Maxwell St., Inman, SC Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015 before noon with viewing and visitation there through Thanksgiving. The family will also receive friends Friday, November 27, 2015 from 2:00 to 2:45 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel. The services will follow at 3:00 PM conducted by Rev. Preston Edmonds. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC.
The active pallbearers will be Tyler Hudson, Gene Revis, Maxx Revis, Daniel Revis, Blane Harvey, Billy Burgess, Danny Smith, Terry Burgess, III., and Dylan Lawson. Honorary Escort will be Terry Burgess, Jerry Burgess, David Betenbaugh, Roy Overcash and Gary Atkins.
