Tommy R. Lowe

Spartanburg, SC--- Tommy R. Lowe, 69, of 6334 N. Pinnacle Dr., Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg County on July 1, 1946, he was a son of the late James H. and Addie Elizabeth (Rollins) Greene. Tommy was the husband of the late Margaret Carleen King Lowe having celebrated 48 years of marriage before her passing. Mr. Lowe was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was member of Horton Memorial Wesleyan Church in Clifton, SC and worked for Uncle Bob's Self Storage. Tommy was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Moose Lodge. He is survived by one son, Scott Lowe and his wife Dawn of Roebuck, SC; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lowe; five siblings, Janice Abernathy Fowler and her husband Stephen of Duncan, SC, Joe Abernathy and his wife Brenda of Cowpens, SC, Mildred Greene Fowler and her husband Ray of Mayo, SC, Barbara Greene Loden and her husband Frank of Spartanburg, SC and Janice Greene Peeler and her husband James of Campobello, SC. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also predeceased by one daughter, Tamatha Lowe.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 with Rev.
