Todd Frederick Poslik, 83, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on September 15, 2023, at White Oak Estates, Spartanburg SC while in Hospice Care.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 9, 1940, a son of the late Gladys (Schuster)Byers, and Charles Wentzel Poslik. He is survived by his wife, June Claire Poslik, of White Oak Estates, Spartanburg SC, to whom he was married on April 4th, 1964, at St. Anthony’s Church, Millvale PA.
Upon his retirement from several successful years working in the commercial trucking industry in Pittsburgh PA., Todd and June built their dream home in Green Briar Creek, Inman SC.
Todd was an avid golfer, thoroughly enjoying his retirement on the many courses of Upstate South Carolina, particularly Cleghorn Plantation in Rutherfordton NC, where he scored his first Hole-in-One. Todd was also an accomplished gardener, landscape architect, stained glass artist, painter, and craftsman.
He is survived his brother, Ronald Poslik, Nephew Scott Poslik and Neice Tanya Poslik of Germany, Neice Pamela Liberatore of Pittsburgh PA. Brothers Bill (Sandy) and Don Byers of Massillon Ohio, special cousin and lifelong friend Keri (Norman) Ochs, of Rochester PA. Nephew George (Julia) Allman of Seneca PA, and incredible friends, the Bonnie Bean Wacker family, of Inman SC., Aiken SC., and Pittsburgh PA., and the Jason Coleman family of Inman, SC.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Dolores (Paul) Liberatore of Pittsburgh, Sister-in-Law, Ushi Poslik, of Germany, and Brother, Bobby Byers, of Massillon Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, PO Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
Services will be scheduled and held privately with the family, at a later date, with interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Pittsburgh PA.
