Thomas John Kimmons, 38, of 350 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC passed away at his home. Thomas was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 21, 1976, a son of Betty (Workman) Edwards Kimmons, of Inman and the late Johnny Kimmons. He was formerly employed at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and CSX Railroad and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Spartanburg. He was a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201 where he served as past master. In addition to his mother Thomas is survived by two step-sons, two brothers, Jerry Lee Kimmons, of Moore and Tony Edwards of Campobello. The family is at the home of his mother at 2276 Compton Bridge Road, Inman and will receive friends at graveside immediately following the service. Graveside services with Masonic rites will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15th, with Rev Gary Hensley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Baptist Church, 200 Evangel Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
