Campobello, SC--- Thomas James (T.J.) Hardin, 70, of 11890 Hwy. 11, Campobello, SC, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his home. Born in Spartanburg, SC on May 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Eloise (Seay) and Thomas B Hardin. Mr. Hardin served in the U.S. Navy and had retired from Southeastern Freight Lines in January of 2011 after 33 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Rockhill Baptist Church in Inman. He is survived by three daughters, Angel Cossano of Campobello, Pam Prince of Duncan and Nicole Collins of Landrum; one brother, Ronnie Hardin; one sister, Edith Sellers; five grandchildren, Jamie Garrett, Kari Garrett, Holly Brown, Cody Covil and Alex Root; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Withnell and E.J. Center. He was predeceased by one brother, Claude Hardin. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 7-9 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at the Hardin Family Cemetery, 11890 Hwy. 11, Campobello, SC, at 2 PM on Saturday, July 21st, with Rev. Tommy Turner officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Memorials maybe made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 950 Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605-4277. The family is at the home.
