Thomas "Tommy" Franklin Fredericks, Jr, 70, of 2681 Bishop Road, Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum. Thomas was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 27, 1942, a son of the late Beulah (Lewis) Fredericks and Thomas Franklin Fredericks, Sr. He was the loving husband of Linda (Horton) Fredericks for 49 years. He was formerly employed at Arrow Automotive for 33 years and retired from Citadel Security Workforce in Spartanburg. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Inman, SC. In addition to his wife Thomas is survived by a daughter, Angela Wright, of Boiling Springs; a son, Justin Fredericks, of the home; a sister, Mary Jane Stokes (Robert) of Waterloo, SC, a brother, Tyson Hope of Culloden, WV, two grandchildren, Heather Wright of Spartanburg, Danielle Wright of the home and the Joy of His Life, his great grandson, Kayden Carter Buckner. He is also survived by his special friend Sandy Mathis and two nieces and several nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Bill Barnett. A memorial service will be held today, November 21, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Inman, SC. The family is at his home and will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
