Thomas E. "Tommy" Loftis

Inman, SC---Thomas Edward (Tommy) Loftis, 61, of 180 Little Mountain Circle Inman, passed away Monday, September 16th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Tommy was born in Spartanburg County on November 14, 1951, a son of the late Lollie Jackson Loftis and Marion Loftis. He was the husband of Marian Parish Loftis and was retired from at Wendell Lee Well Drilling after many years of service with Certificate # 64.
He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Robert Loftis and his wife Jane of Ewa, HI, a sister, Miriam McClure and husband Dennis of Landrum, brother in law, Danny Botts of Abbeville, SC, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Reid. Tommy was a very caring person who enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors.
The family is at the home and will receive friends one hour before the memorial service at Seawright Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Reggie Parker and Rev. Donnan Lawson and Rev. Mark Cannon officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Creek Baptist Church "New Sanctuary Fund" 311 Holston Creek Road Inman, SC 29349.
