Thomas Henry "Tom" Cothran, 67, of Inman, SC died Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Cothran was born in Inman, SC on November 6, 1942, the son of the late Olin James and Vera (Epley) Cothran .He was the husband of Phyllis (Lawter) Cothran and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church. He served in the US Army and had retired from International Wire in Inman.
Surviving in addition to his wife Phyllis is a son, Kyle Cothran and his wife Jennifer of Moore, SC, two sisters, Glenda Mabrey and her husband Jack also of Moore, SC, Sandy Bishop and her husband Ted of Inman and a brother Bob Cothran and his wife Faye also of Inman. There are four grandchildren, Christopher, Mackenzie, Mason and Noah Cothran.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC, with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. The family will be at his home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either: Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304 or to the Inman Mills Baptist Church Building Fund, 22 B. St., Inman, SC 29349
