Thelma Tucker Metcalf, 92 of 5 McMillin Circle passed away Saturday, March 30th, at Wesley Court Assisted Living in Boiling Springs, SC.
Mrs. Metcalf was born in Landrum, SC on November 11, 1920, a daughter of the late Will and Mamie Dockery Tucker and was the widow of Newton Finch Metcalf. She had retired from Camphaven Nursing Home in Inman and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Steve Metcalf and his wife Joanne of Campobello, SC, a brother, Pete Tucker and his wife Bev of Nashua, N. H. and a grandson, Rob Metcalf and his wife Rebecca of Inman. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Tucker and three sisters, Annie Mae Rogers, Juanita Lively and Margaret Hines.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 with Rev. Skip Snyder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC .
