Terry Wayne Rice, 70, of 202 Paul's Shore Drive Waterloo, SC, passed away Saturday, December 23rd, at Haven Hospice, 745 Blanding Blvd., Orange County, FL. Terry was born in Greenville, S.C. on July 25, 1947, a son of the late Doris Odessa Abercrombie Rice and Furman Eugene Rice. He was the widower of Nancy Joyce Lowery Rice. He retired as paint contractor and was a member of Dove Assembly Full Gospel Church in Spartanburg. He is survived by two daughters and their husbands; Lisa Ann and Steve Hendrix of Waterloo, Terri Lynn and Todd Stewart of Lyman, three brothers; Donnie Phillips of Greenwood, Jerry Phillips of Ware Shoals, David Rice of Port Orange, Florida, four sisters; Jackie Howard of Easley, Linda Bennett of Belton, Kitty Ball of Greenville, Sherri Cash of Liberty, his ten grandchildren; Jessica Greene and her husband Bryan, T.J. Stewart, Dee Moore, Anna Stewart, Josh Stewart, Chelsea Collins, Tommy Johnson, Katiann Johnson, Marissa Lowery, Maranda Johnson, Brittany Cowart and her husband Alex, and his eight great grandchildren; Channing Nguyen, Chance Greene, Angel Stewart, Lily Stewart, Alana Collins, Jaylon Carree, and Sophie Carree. He was also predeceased by two brothers; Butch Rice and Roger Rice and a sister, Barbara Ann Phillips. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Saturday 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Dove Assembly Full Gospel Church at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 31st, with Rev. Joe Mosley officiating. Entombment will follow in Graceland- East Cemetery, Greenville, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dove Assembly Full Gospel Church, 590 Mt. Zion Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
