Terry Gene Duckett

 Terry Gene Duckett, 86, of Spartanburg, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. 

Terry was born in Ninety-Six, SC on February 11, 1936, a son of the late Mary (Dill) and Dillard Duckett. He was the widower of Mary Ann (Shetley) Duckett. He was retired from Mayfair Mills, the National Guard, and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. 
Terry is survived by a daughter, Terri Putnam and husband David, of Chesnee; two sons, David Duckett and wife Karen, of Spartanburg; Ricky Duckett and wife Diane, of Spartanburg. Terry is also survived by his grandchildren, Johnathan Duckett and wife Ashlee, Stacey Smith and husband Craig, Derrick Duckett and wife Ashley and his great grandchildren, Logan Duckett, John Patrick Duckett, Lily Duckett, Emma Duckett, Chelsea Smith, Lauren Smith, Caleb Smith, Jacob Smith, and Nathan Smith. He is also survived by his two brothers, Colon Duckett, and Dennis Duckett and his wife Pat.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Morning Star Baptist Church in Pacolet, with Rev. Jackie Carrigan and Rev. Michael Rochester officiating. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary following the service. Private burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg.
