Teresa Petty-Goforth

Teresa Petty-Goforth, 75, of Moore, SC, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her home. Teresa was born in Gaffney, S.C. on December 27, 1949, a daughter of the late Louise (Garrett) Collins and Clyde A. Lane. She is the widow of Bobby Goforth. Her survivors include two daughters, Ginger A. Godfrey (Joe), Robin Hawkins (Cierra): a son, Eddie Sparks: six grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Jennifer, Tiffany, Ashley, and Brandon: eight great grandchildren: a brother, Chris Lane and a sister, Carolyn Bradley. She was predeceased by, a daughter Della Sue Hawkins and a sister, Diane Reynolds.

She was retired as an accountant with Cryovac.

The family will hold a private service at a later date and requests donations to Spartanburg Humane Society 150 Dexter Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29303.
