Tabitha Lynn Clayton, 18, of 430 Woodland Avenue Inman, died Wednesday, August 15th, at Greenvillle Memorial Hospital.
Tabitha was born in Spartanburg on February 21, 2000, a daughter of Thomas L. and Tina Donald Clayton. She was a member of Green Point Baptist Church and was a 2018 graduate of McCarthy Teszler School in which the ceremony took place at Children's Hospital in Greenville.
In addition to her parents, Tabitha is survived by a brother, Tyler Gibson and his wife, Catherine, of Inman; a nephew, Jeremy Gibson, her maternal grandmother, Mary Avery of Inman, maternal grandfather, Jerry Gibson of Inman, paternal grandmother, Rachel Clayton of Campobello, and uncle and aunt, Wayne and Rhea Bellew of Gaffney, cousin, Sabrina Bellew, aunt and uncle, Michelle and David Johnson, cousins, Zach and Noah; her honorary second mother, Net Henderson of Rutherfordton, and a special caregiver, Carol Richardson of Greer. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Larry Clayton.
The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Green Point Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. David Lancaster and Mr. Noah Johnson. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System, Pet Program, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
