Sylvia Jean Campbell

Sylvia Jean (Foster) Campbell, 82, of Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Sylvia was born in Inman, SC, on May 17, 1941, a daughter of the late Lenna Kathryn (Settle) McMakin and James Paul Foster. She was the widow of Ervin Lee Campbell. Sylvia is survived by two daughters, Lisa Campbell and Lori Smith; two grandsons, Joshua Lee Smith (Samantha), and Justin Paul Smith; eight great grandchildren: Jakob, Savannah, J.J., Skylar, Jordan, Daisy, Brayden, and Zane; two sisters, Kathryn Kelly and Lynda Morrison; and a brother, Jerry Foster. She was predeceased by a brother, John David Foster; and a son-in-law, Jeff Smith.

Sylvia was a 1959 graduate of Chapman High School and worked many years as a medical secretary.

The family will conduct private services at a later date.
